The problem with Livejournal is that we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. Hence, I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don’t know about you.

Two things: first, if anyone has a Dreamwidth code they'd be willing to part with, I'd love to have one.

Second, the Eight Facts About Yourself meme. Did it back in the day when it was 25 facts about yourself; that version is over yar (under flock).The lovely simmysim told us eight facts about herself in an alternate universe, which was very cool and reminded me of something I'd written a while back, when a friend of mine on Facebook attempted to start an alternate version of the "25 things" meme. It didn't gain much traction outside our immediate circle of acquaintances, but I gave it a shot. And went a little nuts. Here's the note, from February 19, 2009:
